We are now 29 days away from closing out the 3rd quarter of 2017, and we are 278 days away from the InfoComm exhibit hall opening up at the Las Vegas Convention Center. EXCITING! Yes, I know CEDIA is kicking off next week AV tweeps but I can already envision myself on the show floor juiced up once again.
Earlier this week I noticed InfoComm launched a new site for #Infocomm18 and it looks pretty awesome. Soundgirl Tzu-Wei Peng even made it on to the event info page, super cool!
But an interesting blog titled "You’re No Expert…Are You?" by Rachel Bradshaw, Expositions Content Director for InfoComm, is what lead me to the new site. If you haven't read the blog yet, you should. The piece is about facing impostor syndrome and defining expertise.
I won't give away all the details, but within this blog, she also announced InfoComm 2018 Call For Presenters. Rachel shared some real talk and I wanted to share it with you all, especially with young AV professionals. I saw a quote on Pinterest awhile back that read "If you're not going to speak up, how is the world supposed to know you exist?" There is no better time than now to speak up.
